On the occasion of the 108th anniversary of Gabriele d'Annunzio's legendary Flight over Vienna, on Sunday, August 9th, Castello di San Pelagio (Due Carrare, Padua) will have special opening hours from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
An exclusive summer evening to relive history, with reenactments of the Great War, interactive games, guided tours, and food and wine under the stars.

By the Associazione Sentinelle del Lagazuoi, a true journey through time through scenes of daily life during the First World War:
◆ Healthcare and the Red Cross: The healthcare system and medical techniques at the front.
◆ Military Post: How the soldiers' communications service and correspondence worked.
◆ War Photography: From private shots to official military images.
◆ Provisioning: Soldiers' nutrition and the complex logistics machine.
◆ Civil Committees: Assistance at the front and the organization of support committees.
◆ Personal Equipment: The equipment and items provided to soldiers by the administration.

A thrilling visit to the rooms that hosted the Poet-Soldier during his stay at the Castle, during the days of his famous flight on August 9, 1918. The rooms preserve intact the Zaborra family's furnishings and memorabilia from the poet's life and flight.
